Monroe Golf & Country Club features a mature, expertly groomed 18-hole golf course with rolling hills, tree-lined fairways and undulating greens. The course is designed to offer maximum enjoyment and challenge for all skill levels. Members enjoy practice facilities including a driving range, sand bunker and a large putting green.
The Professional Golf Staff led by General Manager Tommy Carlton, offers private lessons and group clinics catering to beginners and seasoned golfers alike.
The Pro Shop offers a full line of fine apparel, equipment and accessories. Gift Certificates are available.
Course Superintendent Steve Long sees to the meticulous upkeep of the beautiful Bermuda fairways and Bentgrass greens. The course plays 6300 yards and 70.6/127 slope from blue, 5980 yards and 68.8/122 from white, 5498 yards and 67.8/117 from gold, and 4964 yards and 68.8/115 from red.
The Club offers golf activities for the whole family. In addition to the many men's tournaments, the very active Monroe Ladies Golf Association holds several tournaments and events each year. A robust Junior Golf Program that includes tournaments, parent/child outings and a junior golf camp helps make golf a family affair.

Founded in 1975, the Monroe Ladies Golf Association offers women the opportunity to hone their skills while they network and build friendships with other women. The Association offers an active schedule of meetings, tournaments and social activities and gathers for play every Tuesday morning.
